Stephen Beagent Associates’ High Wycombe office received a call from a local company asking if we could help them find a Credit Manager for a temporary contract based in Amersham. The issue

The client, working at the forefront of driving standards within the house building and construction industry and a leading provider of risk management services, needed a credit manager for a 12 month temporary contract to provide cover for an internal move as soon as possible.

The solution

Stephen Beagent Associates went to meet with the client straightaway to ascertain their needs for the role and to understand the fit and culture of the company to ensure the perfect match. The client needed a credit manager to develop and maintain credit policy and to manage a team of 4. The individual best suited to the role would need to demonstrate broad commercial experience and have a proven record of improving business performance, as well as being someone who was confident in dealing with people at all levels of a company. They were also looking for someone who was a member of the Institute of Credit Management.

Stephen Beagent Associates undertook a search of their database. Furthermore, as this was a specialist position the role was advertised on relevant job boards in order to ensure that we had access to the best candidates. Shortly afterwards, we produced a shortlist of 4 candidates who matched the criteria of the role specifically. The client wanted to see 2 of the candidates straightaway. Following the interviews an offer was made to a candidate who was able to start immediately.

Follow-up calls were made to both the client and candidate showing that Stephen Beagent Associates had once again made the right match for all parties concerned.
